DARS ("we," "our") is an independent cybersecurity advisory firm incorporated in the United States and based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. We provide advisory services related to information security, governance, risk, compliance, and AI governance.

3. Free Tools — Scope and Limitations

DARS makes available a number of free diagnostic tools and templates on this Site ("Free Tools"), including but not limited to the Security Health Check, Compliance Readiness Quiz, SOC 2 Report Analysis tool, and MODPA Readiness Checklist.

Important limitations:

  • Free Tools provide general guidance only. They are not a substitute for professional assessment, legal advice, or qualified security consultation.
  • Results are based solely on the information you input. DARS does not independently verify any information provided.
  • Free Tool outputs do not constitute a security audit, compliance certification, legal opinion, or professional report.
  • DARS makes no warranty that use of Free Tools will result in regulatory compliance, insurer approval, or protection from any specific threat.
  • All Free Tools run entirely in your browser. DARS does not collect, store, or transmit any data you enter into Free Tools unless you explicitly choose to submit a contact form.

Nothing on this Site constitutes legal, financial, regulatory, or professional security advice. Content is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
